Purkeypile Promoted in Oklahoma City

Industry veteran active in numerous civic efforts.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Ben Purkeypile has been promoted to vice president, commercial banker.

Previously an assistant vice president, commercial banker, Purkeypile will continue to generate, evaluate and approve commercial loans, among other duties. He will office at Arvest’s 3900 N. Lincoln branch in Oklahoma City.

Purkeypile has nine years of banking experience, including serving as assistant vice president of business banking most recently at BancFirst. He also worked previously at Citizens Bank of Edmond, during which time he was selected as a member of The Business Times’ Top 20 under 40 class of 2013.

Purkeypile studied English and business administration at both Emporia State and the University of Central Oklahoma. He is active in numerous community and civic groups, including the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce, Edmond Young Professionals, Rotary Club of Edmond, Oklahoma Rural Water Association, and Oklahoma Municipal Contractors Association. Purkeypile and his wife, Jamie, have three children.
