SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark.—Arvest Bank has announced that Roger Holroyd has accepted an offer and will become the president and chief executive officer of Arvest Bank in Siloam Springs on April 1, 2012.

Holroyd has served as the senior loan manager at the bank since 2001. He will be promoted to the role as Lisa Ray, current president and chief executive officer, transfers to Arvest Bank in Springdale.

Both Holroyd and Ray will continue their current positions and work together for a smooth transition in Springdale and Siloam Springs on April 1. Ray’s acceptance of the Springdale position was announced in February.

“Roger knows Arvest Bank and he knows the Siloam Springs community,” said Cliff Gibbs, regional executive for Arvest Bank Group. “He was the perfect choice to fill this key position.”

Holroyd has served Arvest Bank for more than 19 years, first as a commercial banker and in his role as senior loan manager since 2001.

Holroyd earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Harding University in Searcy, Ark., in 1985 and a Master of Science degree in finance from Texas A&M in 1998. He is a certified public accountant and attended the Graduate School of Banking through Louisiana State University.

He is active in Siloam Springs and the greater Northwest Arkansas area. He serves as the board chairman for the United Way of Northwest Arkansas, the Siloam Springs School Board secretary and is a member of the Rotary Club of Siloam Springs.

Holroyd and his wife, Bonita, have two children, Katie and Stephen. They are members of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ in Springdale.
