Arvest Bank Recognized with Outstanding Corporation Award

Nominated by the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Arvest Bank was named as the 2011 “Outstanding Corporation” by the Northwest Arkansas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.  Thank you to all who had a hand in recognizing us with this honor. On Wednesday, Nov. 9, the Northwest Arkansas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals honored seven individuals and organizations as part of National Philanthropy Day.
The honorees were presented during the annual awards luncheon at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers.

Among the honorees was Arvest Bank, recognized as the Outstanding Corporation and nominated by the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

“The celebration of philanthropy is a part of each day at the University of Arkansas and we are thrilled to see these two nominees recognized for their hard work and generosity,” said Brad Choate, vice chancellor of university advancement, to the University of Arkansas’ Arkansas Newswire.

“Arvest Bank has been a constant promoter of giving back, and their impact is felt throughout Northwest Arkansas,” Choate told Arkansas Newswire. “The company as well as individual employees have made and continue to make a visible difference in our community. This award suites their commitment to philanthropy perfectly.”
